Auctiva/eBay gallery photo issue

Just received this email from one of our eBay Certified Store Designers…great information Jennifer and thanks for making sure we knew about it…if you use Auctiva, check out the information below:

Hi Janelle,

With the new change in eBay’s gallery image policy, a client of mine helped discover an error when listing with Auctiva that I thought I would pass along.

Apparently there’s been a slight code change in eBay’s platform that when using Auctiva isn’t matching up 100%. Please understand, it’s not impacting all images - the listings themselves are fine. But when trying to use special eBay features like Showcase or the Custom Flyer, the gallery images aren’t showing up.

I’ve spent the day between eBay & Auctiva - listening to eBay swear it’s Auctiva & Auctiva swear it’s eBay. But the good news is Auctiva tech support has stepped up, showed their excellent customer service & determined yes - the change at eBay has actually impacted their processes.

So the Auctiva engineers are now addressing the problem, but have no estimated up time. I’ve already alerted all my clients who use Auctiva but thought you might like to know as well.
