Since splitting my selling into 2 eBay IDs and 2 eBay Stores, Twirl Planet has kept PowerSeller status and Bombay Bongo is a “seasonal” PowerSeller. With the recent eBay changes, I have new motivation to qualify Bombay Bongo as a consistent PS. Like Janelle says, selling $33 a day really is not that big of a deal (I’m quoting her loosely!)

Trading Assistant Opportunity

Just received this emailed opportunity for someone…

I live in Kenmore and have a LOT of things to sell, either on ebay, craigslist, or???

Have been discussing a possible partnership with Mike O’Dell over in Edmonds area but want to do some checking around where I live before making a final decision to turn a lot of my things over to sell.

I have several thousand items including a lot of collectible/antique 14 k gold and sterling jewelry plus a few more thousand art deco era costume jewelry.

Plus a hundred thou or so of antique photos, ephemera, and art.I also have quite a few Nat American items including 21 (8 by 10) b/w Indian photos from the 50s I just placed up for barter on Craigslist.  (I also put a near carat diamond sol on there in the same category.)

Also have a lot of NW art including some Chihuly glass.

If you don’t presently sell for others on ebay or Craigs, maybe you can refer me to a three or four folks in this same general area between N Seattle and say, Woodinville who you think will do a timely, professional, and efficient job. Would like to get started asap.

When I discovered eBay in 1997, I was working as a corporate computer trainer and troubleshooter. I was thrilled to find eBay, then a small auction site with a few categories.

I soon discovered I could find treasures I used to travel far and wide to find from my home computer. Like many people who start out buying, one day (after a year) it hit me… “Hey, if other people are selling on eBay, why I can’t I?”

I started selling on eBay in 1998 during the beanie baby boom. I’ve watched with amazement at how this once obscure Internet site has grown into the giant company it is today.

Prior to eBay University, I wrote three courses on eBay and conducted online classes for an Internet distance learning school. I’ve also worked with businesses and achieved PowerSeller status for them.

I teach small hands-on classes, larger classes in College Computer-labs and also offer private lessons and consultations.

I have a BA in Philosophy, Certificate Degrees in Telecommunications Analysis, Internet Technologies and Web Development.
