As I mentioned yesterday, my financial advisors are removing the incredible annual plan from OSI Rock Stars.  @#$%^&$#$% - oh, guess that should be in quotes.   It’s what I have been saying to the advisors since they told me this.  This plan saves you over $400!!!  But you got to act fast as I was only able to buy you a week’s leeway…and it started yesterday.  Many brilliant people Chose Success yesterday and have taken advantage of this money-saving Success opportunity.

A couple of questions have sprung up…

1.  Is there a monthly fee option?

Yes.  We provide the yearly one-time fee for our Rock Stars who choose to pay the 12-month membership of $297 up front for a savings of $411.  For our Rock Stars who choose the monthly plan, you can still save $12 a month ($144 a year), and the membership is $49 a month.  You could also check with your credit card company to see if they will let you pay the $297 up front for the $411 savings, and then make interest free payments to them.

So yes, there is a monthly plan and you will be able to still join at the $49 a month rate even after this week.

2.  If I have signed up in the past, or if I am a new Rock Star, will you honor my $297 price when it comes time to renew?

Most definitely!!  Because you are choosing Success, we are thrilled to have you Backstage with us and you will be grandfathered in to the price that you signed up at.  (gosh, guess that is another great reason to snag an annual membership!)

3.  Do I have access to all of the classes you do?

Yes – AND you have access 24/7.  You even have access to some of the classes that aren’t shown in this newsletter.  The OSI Rock Stars get to attend exclusive classes that are only put on for them – these include the eBay fee/site change series we are just finishing up, SEO, keywords, and more.

Community is one of my favorite parts of OSI Rock Stars…I am honored to have such an awe-inspiring group of Rock Stars.  They are so passionate about their dreams of being an entrepreneur.  I truly believe that that is why OSI Rock Stars is so different than other membership sites (not just because some pie/chart/graphs tell me so).  It is about YOU and your Success and your Dreams.  The amazing community of Rock Stars is unlike any I have seen – they are supportive, and encouraging and excited about their Success.  They are patient with each other and positive of new business ideas and freely share their opportunities with others.  When we opened Rock Stars they literally demanded a forum to interact with other like-minded Success thinkers…and truthfully I was leery.  After having seen what a ‘community’ could do to forums like some of those on eBay and Auctionbytes, I definitely did not want that on my new Success site.  But they convinced me and the forums have been incredibly successful.  Here are just a few of the very active forums we currently have:

·        Customer Service — You can try every trick in the book, but without Customer Service you won’t be able to hang on to those customers (& you’ll be dinged with eBay’s most recent DSR changes). Join Jim & Barbara of Grandpa’s Trading Co to learn and share great Customer Service ideas for your business.

How are YOUR DSR’s?

The Rock Stars are raising the bar!!  Reports are coming in that the 5-Star campaign going on with the Rock Stars at OSI is gaining momentum and other sellers are realizing that they had better step-up their game, or the Rock Stars will be taking ALL of the customers on eBay!!

The Rock Stars have been working really hard these past 2 weeks to learn all about the eBay fee/site changes.  They have taken over 6+ hours of classes, printed out checklists, downloaded Gold Star logos and have been making some very exciting changes in their business to deal with these changes.  Some of them have offered to share with all of you the top tips of what they are doing to ensure they have PowerSeller status and maintain/raise their DSR’s in the coming months.  SO very proud of them!!  Here’s a field report from our very own Stephanie.

OK - Here is a summary of just some of the great things the Rock Stars have been up to since the fabulous DSR class Janelle gave us.  The thread again is here if you want to review it for the details:

Stephanie merged the “I give 5-Star Service” logo with the “Welcome to my Store” logo in all of her listings, as well as added it to her store’s home page and custom pages.  She renamed her Store Policy Page “Katiyana’s 5 Gold Star Service”, and linked many of these logos around her store back to the new page.  She created her Automatic Responder newsletter and FAQ’s for the first time, as well as customized the “Shipping Notification” template in Selling Manager, which she started sending out to her buyers when their items were packed up for shipment. 

She will be creating “I Give 5-Star Service” stickers to put on her outgoing packages.

Christina updated her template, lowered shipping & handling rates, and also created a welcome email for her newsletter subscribers.  She created a custom page to talk about her 5-Star Service (http://stores.ebay.com/Cosmetics-Skincare-Makeup-Wholesale/The-5-Star-Treatment.html?refid=store). 

She also headed over to Vistaprint to stock up on marketing materials.

She has created a list of new feedback comments to be left for her buyers that all include a reference to “5 Gold Star” experience.

She updated her templates, added a promotion box about the “I Support Buyers, not the Boycott” movement, and began working on changes to her photos.  She created a custom page, and uses the Promotional Flyer as a brochure in her packages, she’ll be customizing the text on that to include 5-star service references and also went shopping at Vistaprint and got customized engraved pens from Quill.com to include with her shipments as well.

Janie also made a new custom page for her store, printed her own post cards to include as marketing materials with her shipments, and changed her feedback comments to reference the 5-star guarantee.  She used the Store Newsletter to explain the 5-Star guarantee to her newsletter subscribers, and updated her Squidoo page to talk about the “I Support Buyers, Not the Boycott” program.

She updated her autofeedback with some new comments, and created a custom label featuring the Gold Star Logo she’ll be putting on her packages (which she shared with us in the Rock Star Forum).

She has been working on updating her templates, photos, and email templates.  She also created a new custom page in her store and sent out a newsletter supporting the Buyers, not the Boycott.

She also added a custom page and did some remodelling on her store homepage.  She’s going shopping from Vistaprint as well as using the detailed label idea, but is going to put it on the invoice inside the package instead of the outside.  She is changing her feedback comments to reference the 5-star guarantee.

So there you have it - as you can see the OSI Rock Stars have been hard at work remodelling their store, making changes to their business practices, and incorporating new marketing tactics as a way to demonstrate to our buyers that we are sellers who provide 5 Gold Star service to our buyers!  I’m sure we’ll continue to see new and innovative approaches over the next couple of months as we prepare for the DSR’s impact to hit the site.

But we’ll be ready for it because we are 5 Gold Star Rock Stars!
