· Lemons or lemonade?
One of our Rock Stars, Andrew of Pediasleep, just went through a legal battle for his business name – which was of course tied to everything…products, website, marketing. On top of it, Andrew was delivering his ‘baby sleep sounds’ digitally on eBay – and as you know that program was pulled last month. He could have easily thrown in the towel and gone back to work in the ‘corporate’ world. But he didn’t…his determination and passion and focus on his goals through the fight has created a successful outcome. SO very proud of you Andrew – you definitely Rock! Here is a quick note from Andrew…
“After months of working hard (and seemingly in slow-motion) during my daughter’s naps and night-time sleeping, I have officially re-launched my re-branded website under the Pediasleep name. The content is the same as my old site, but it now has a name with a broader product focus, and much better long-term potential.
I’m still working on getting the tag-line exactly right, but it’s getting there thanks to everyone’s help who has contributed ideas here!
Now comes the hard work of re-building all the links and traffic that I had going to the old site
Anyway, I’m excited to be back on track with a solid name, and I’m ready to tackle the new challenges that come with the transition! Now, it’s time for some much-needed sleep…”

The way an eBay Store newsletter should be
I love getting eBay Store newsletters – some are fabulous, great marketing and promotions put together with the buyer in mind. And some are going in my file to save for a ‘do not do this’ class – lol.
One of my favorite eBay Store newsletters comes from Offbeat Art Lamps and Etcetera who always has the wildest things in their Store (click in the right hand corner to sign up for their great newsletter). Some things they find, some things they make from what they find. But I have to say I was floored by what I saw in their recent newsletter. Now trust me, I don’t get excited about toast - heck I can’t even cook…but look at how beautiful this antique toaster is…

New Google AdSense book out
You guys keep asking for a Google AdSense class…and I don’t blame you. Figuring out Profitable Keywords is one thing, but putting them to use in your business is a whole other ballgame. My favoritest SEO genius has retired, but I will keep bribing Cat Seda with Spa trips to see if I can get her to come out of retirement. In the meantime, I did find this book by New York Best Seller Joel Comm, one of the leading experts in using Google AdSense for profits:
What Google Never Told You About Making Money Using AdSense”
Chapter 1 - EVEN if you weren’t going to use this book for utilizing AdSense ads on your website, did you read the first chapter or so? GREAT information about setting up a website correctly as well as some good SEO tips. I think my favorite tips were about naming your website and content.
I bought the book last week (like I need one more e-book to read), but I have been tempted to buy his previous books (at $97 a piece) and couldn’t pass up his $9.95 offer for this one. He of course tries to sell you other products throughout the buying process of this book (like any smart marketer would do – lol), which is why he is willing to get you in the door at the less than $10 price.
I have to say I was a bit floored at how much information is in this 230+ page book. I am filling up a notebook with all the new profit ideas I have from reading this $10 gem.
Not only does he cover AdSense having to do with:
- What AdSense is
- Marketing techniques
- Tools to use
- Analysis techniques
- Heck, he even covers some of the information we taught you at Rock Stars about Profitable Keywords - LOL
But I also loved that EVEN if you don’t have any interest in AdSense, he also covers:
- Getting traffic to your website/blog
- Search engine optimization
- Adding content to your site
- Marketing that produces traffic
- He even has a section about eBay!!
