Ok, so I have learned a few things this week:
- I have a new respect for women’s water polo - I have no doubt that their picture is next to the word ‘endless endurance’ in the dictionary - how do they do that?
- Our Rock Stars continue to amaze and inspire me as well as those around them. - Tivo is one of the most amazing inventions in the last 100 years - as entrepreneurs one of the most important skills we need to have is being able to move time - and have that flexibility to do so. Tivo is one of those many tools I keep in my life to do just that. Rock Stars is another one - so is iGoogle. And podcasts from iTunes. My information, my way, on my timeline
- Dara Torres, who at the age of 41 not only competed in the Olympics, but was a medal winner, is my new hero.
John Jantsch rocks - http://www.ducttapemarketing.com/blog/ - I have always been a HUGE fan of this incredible online marketing genius for his ‘doable’ approach to successful businesses. Lately he has been stepping up his game even more. His book Duct Tape Marketing is still my most used business book ever. (Update: oooh, just talked to John and we have an exciting announcement coming up - watch for details coming soon)- I am glad that there is almost ZERO crime going on in
- After doing my marathon research for our AMAZING upcoming class Monday on the new eBay Fee Changes I have put together some great info for lowering your fees, increasing your business and ramping up your holiday sales - so excited.
- And…I also saw first hand while attending ALL of the webinars eBay put on, as well as the Town Hall, that the bad sellers who have been driving away our valuable buyers are frantically and desperately fighting to stay on eBay. And I am delighted that eBay’s answer was “uhmmm, no!”
- I am in love with Hoops & Yoyo…you SO have to listen to my new coffee cup I just got this week, it cracks me up every time.

eBay Fee Change Class Announcement - I cannot believe the interest in this class - wow!
I know some of you don’t bother with learning about ‘one more change’ eBay is making. However, these new changes require almost all of you to update your listing with pertinent information. If you do not do so in the time allotted your listings will either be pulled or not renewed. Please make sure you are familiar with the required new changes so that there is not a pause in your business activities, especially with the holidays fast approaching. (these changes were not just strictly fee adjustments).

Our Rock Stars SO Rock
We just received this recent update on Janieruth’s condition:
(This was just posted by Janieruth’s husband…please continue to keep her and her family in your prayersJ
Since I last posted, things have changed. We received a call Tuesday telling Jane not to come for therapy Wednesday. They had determined that they could not set any more goals for her. Translated: no more insurance. So, I e-mailed the Alabama Head Injury Association and they called on Wednesday. They are coming to the house next month to discuss resources for Jane. In the meantime, she will continue to go to the wound center and do exercises at home. Church members and others continue to help us by volunteering to pick her up to go to the wound center and bring her home. I would not be able to work without them. We are so blessed. I cant believe that it has been 2 months since Jane fell. Sometimes it seems like an eternity ago and other times, it feels like just a few weeks. Please continue to pray for Jane as she exercises and does the work at home.
And, with amazingly good timing & generosity, one of our newest Rock Stars (who has brilliantly jumped right into the site and joined our community/family) Greta has recently put up a new auction to help raise money for Janieruth (as well as the Alabama Head Injury Association). I know she worked VERY hard at putting this extensive collection of eBay memorabilia together to help raise money for our wonderful Rock Star Janieruth (and huge thanks to all of you who worked on this project with her too).
