The Amazon 101 CDs have come and are now gone. LOL – the Post Office just shakes their heads and laughs when they see me coming. They so love the days when we get our orders in. There are more in the car too!

Looks like the Post Office will be fussing again soon as the eBay & Fee Site Change CD is also flying off the ‘shelves’ (hard to really have it on the shelf when it’s a pre-order, but you know what I mean.) I am glad that you understand how important it is to know about these changes.
I was truly surprised today when I talked to almost a dozen different people I know who sell on eBay and they either didn’t know about the changes, or said they would get around to learning about them sooner or later. Eeks! Reminded me a bit of how the political process is viewed in our country by some…oh, I don’t really need to know when the election is or take the time to vote – the country will go on whether I do or not. In the past with eBay that has been the truth – although you have obviously been taking a huge chunk out of how much your profits could be. But with these changes, if you don’t proactively do certain steps that eBay is making policy your ability to list will be stopped. STOPPED. Can you imagine waking up the day after the election and being stopped from leaving your house by the police? Oh, sorry Miss Elms…we are deporting you because you didn’t make your choice by voting in yesterday’s election. Ok, a tad extreme…but might make a good Sci-Fi movie idea (are you listening Rob) – and hopefully makes my point about how important these recent changes are.
This is a “must listen” series for anyone serious about their business. Janelle is great with getting all the information out to us and explaining it in a way we can understand. The checklists and timelines are wonderful!

Did you know…
· There are certain words that you are currently using in your listings that could get your listings stopped by eBay – you certainly don’t want that happening during holiday season.
· There is a way to DOUBLE your PowerSeller discounts (up to 40% off your FVF)?
· There are now required boxes that have to be marked/filled out if you are listing on eBay?
· There is now a category where you can list for 5 cents and a category where you can list for free?
Oh, there’s a bunch more surprises, but again – I am worried that people feel that they can just let these changes happen behind the scenes and not do any adjustments to their businesses. Not this time. This time if you don’t make the required changes you could potentially have your ability to list stopped – eeks!
